It's the 15th day of the HGF today and my boss came in real early with his son to set up the tables with offerings for the 'Good Brothers'. By the time i've reach office, they were alr there doing their own stuff. I saw my boss burning the incense paper in the red mini metal bucket where people burn offerings in, so i offered to help. It wasn't long when the smoke detector detected smoke outside our showroom and the fire alarm started ringing...
The whole scene was seriously action packed. It's almost like some scene from an action flick where they hav a pre-recorded female voice in the background saying "the fire alarm has been sounded, please evacuate the building" and i really heard tat when the fire alarm was ringing non-stop. Good thing was, the water sprinklers weren't working, phew...It's really an action packed morning.
Grandma is discharged from the hospital tis morning, hope tat she doesn't hav phobia of cats from since the day she got biten...
Some update for yesterday as well:
My grandma was recovering well after the cat bite. The doctor told her tat she won't hav to go thru the operation as her swell seemed to hav reduced slightly. Of cos, my granda was really elated to hear tat since she's never a fan of going for any operations. Visited her after i've checked out the uni course offered by MDIS at douby ghout and i found that she is really a woman of wisdom. I am really ashamed to say tis b'cos i only knew it yesterday as i hav nt really talk to her alot even when i visit her. I would say she is the coolest grandma in the world! Hopefully it's not too late to cherish her.
Before that, i've started my day at SIM, checking out things tat are related to my future. Then took a cab down to NUS to join my friends for lunch (didn't really eaten anything since i was still bloated with the fried rice cooked by mom in the morning). Followed them back to the office to pass them 'something' as well as my handphone claim forms for last month. Hui ling better b in office before end of month as my agent was asking me for all my claim forms to be submitted alr since the finance ppl were rushing him for it.
Shortly after, went to bugis to pass Joel my famous ah xiang cookies as he is leaving SG for Korea tis coming sunday for further studies. Since i was there, i made a trip down to the Guan Ying Temple to pray for safety since tis is the HGF month (jus in case). Then i went down to douby ghout and lastly to visit my grandma. It's my off day yet i hav no rest, how ironic. Luckily i had completed all the things in my To-Do-List and so the was not wasted at all. haha
