8 more working days...and hungry ghost is out alr?!

8 more days and i will b gone from NParks. Gone in a way that i don't hav to see the Tai-Chi master as well as the unhygienic dude who treated the office like his house. I guess being sick and drowsy contributed to my low tolerance for nonsense. Well, that is definitely something that i won't miss when i am gone!

I've went to work as usual except that i was carrying a huge bag of cookies which i had distributed to many many ppl. Of the many many, i had given Michelle (originally from IT, to thank her for looking after me when i was still a noob in the department), the kiddos (jun xian and ricky for being such a good kid, i jus lied again! haha), funito (i've given him the slightly burnt ones, cos i can't stand his crap sometimes, or rather most of the time, heh heh), chee ping, chia han, hui ling, karen and yi feng. Terence got transferred out so i didn't hav the chance to let him try my cookies before i leave nparks. Sophia was not forgotten as well since i hav a little favour to ask her, which is to write me a testimonial before i leave. However, she told me to write it myself and let her vet thru when i'm done. It sounds kinda wrong to do tat cos who in the world would praise themselves (other than those who's skin are as thick as 10 elephants added together)? As there was a saying: Self-praise is no-praise. I asked chee ping about it and he told he tat it is actually quite normal for this kinda things. Well, shall look for ppl who are 'powderful' with their 'england' to think for me alr.

Next up, jun xian's eye candy, 'Miss Birdie', talked to me (it's not like i'm interested in her or anything lah) and i almost blushed. Good thing i can control my blood flow, shall name myself JX: The Last Blood Vessel Bender! I'm seriously suspecting that i'm having some kinda uncontrollable sickness tat will turn myself red when there are young female homosapien (other than my friends and sister) around me. Not a good thing though! I remembered Sophia told me tat my future wife will b a very fortunate woman since i know how to bake cookies, thing is tat i don't even hav a gf yet! Jokes aside, i'm seriously not tat desperate for one yet since i still prefer my single-hood where i can do whatever i want and whenever i want to. No obligations to anyone and no fear of a possible bad relationship where things go wrong and the girl starts to stalk me and threaten to kill me with a parang. Besides i really don't hav time for tis kinda thing/drama. So, stop asking me when i'm going to get a gf! Thx ppl!

Female homosapiens hav already been engineered in such a way tat they can change their mood even faster than a lightning strike, literally. Girls around me are really scary, probably tat's y i'm SOOOOOOOO NOOOOOOOOOOT INTO SINGAPOREAN GIRLS! They are demanding, petty and needed constant pacification. Sometime, being a Singaporean guy is jus so pitiful cos we don't even know wat the hack we had done wrong to enrage tat 'beast' in them. I am so sorry to be such a sexist here but it is meant for SG girls only. For instance, i had distributed cookies to everyone except someone whom i had said that i would giv her a share. It's not considered as a promised in my context though. However, i didn't make enough and i suppose giving it to my bosses and colleagues are much more impt since we see each other almost everyday. So she keep ranting about it saying things like "so i'm the last one on ur list". I mean c'mom lah, if u r really tat desperate for some cookies, jus go and buy lah, it's not like i'm giving out gold bars and u r not getting any rite? Besides i had apologised to her alr. Girls are really...dotz

Sorry tat my inner-bitch came out, time to keep tat bitch back to where it belonged. *squeeze it hard into the magical lamp* and *poof*

Another Drama Day-28/7/2010

I'll keep this entry short as the medication had taken effect on me and i'm already 1/2 way there in lala land already.

Took 1/2 day off today planning to come back home early to bake some cookies for my colleagues my 'grand finale' in NParks. However, i couldn't find the whisk tat is supposed to be attached to the electric mixer when i'm ready to mix all the ingredient together. Searched for it for quite sometime before i finally gav up and took a little nap on the sofa until mom and dad come back so tat i could ask them. When they finally came back, they didn't even know where that thing was but i still managed to find them in the...oven...

Little update on early of the day. Saw an old couple and a woman in the early 30s quarreling, details unknown but i almost had it taken down on my hp, too bad my hp was undergoing 'renovation' (bought a new screen protector) at cold storage. Terence Chan from my workplace was asked to leave NParks due to the fact that he had sent out inappropriate reply to one of the big shot from MOM, whom had apparently sent out email to the wrong recipient. Tat big shot didn't even bother to attach his signature on the email until he was 'taking revenge' by cc-ing the email to the whole wide world when replying back to Terence's 'rude' reply, how nice of him...

Shall go sleep now, hopefully the cookies will turn out super delicious since i've added double dosage of chocolate chips!

The Rewarding Sunday!

Nothing happening happened today except that the fact tat i've found a pair of Oakley shades under the bench at the bus stop in the zoo when going home. Initially i was really skeptical on whether if the shades is an authentic, one cos it's been lying there for quite some time with lots of ppl passing by and looking at it without picking it up and it seriously feels plastic-ky. So i kinda brought it back and Jimmy was telling me to check if there is any of the same model on Oakley's webby. Checked the price and it costed around $200sgd (i supposed tat is a real one). So i kinda made it my reward for turning up at the zoo today >:)

A small portion on wat happened to me yesterday; NParks was having their Recreation Day yesterday where staffs get to enjoy movies at the price of $3 per tic plus a choice of a combo set where they had popcorns, hotdog or nachos if you get 2 tix.

I've gotten 4 tix, 2 Indespicable Me for my sis and 2 Sorcerer's Apprentice for myself, but she pang seh-ed me as she reserved tat show for someone else so i gav them to my cousins instead.

As for my personal review for this show, probably 3/5 stars ba, pretty much the effects tat was keeping me entertained. What i hated most was the ending where it was too amusing to a point tat it didn't really make any sense (well, it shdn't b since it's fictional, but still...) and they kinda ended the ending abruptly. I was too amused by the "Ghostbusters" stunt they had in the movie as well as the "Dragonball-cum-Starwars" effect tat kinda killed the wicked bitch witch tat tried to take over the world like all evil villains always wanted to do in all movies. One more thing tat i forgot to mention is the part where they 'exchanged' moves, total epic...

Well, coming next up will b "Inception" and "Indespicable Me" before my job switch where i will hav no time for anyone anymore...So little time for so many ppl, gosh!
AND I HAVEN'T CONVERT MY RAW IMAGES TO JPEG YET!!! B-U-S-Y!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!

Boredom drives me nuts

Nothing much happened today except some trivial little things tat i am about to share with u guys.

First of all I've turned up my metabolism rate alittle too high today to the point tat i need food every 3hrs, REAL MEAL TAT NORMAL PPL EAT FOR BREAKFAST/LUNCH. I know it sounds really scary but i can't really help it. I guess tat it's my 3rd stage of puberty ba? haha (no extra details to b shared here!).

Then i had a nine-hundred-and-sixty-cents worth of Yong Tau Foo!!! For lunch and dinner tat is (and as i had mentioned earlier, i need food every 3hrs, so my lunch was at 4pm and dinner was at 6.30pm). So freaking expensive for a local delight...

Speaking of which, I've met an ang mo woman (<- notice tat i've used the word 'woman'? tat means tat she is not very young, 30+ i suppose?) who got so thrill with buying Yong Tau Foo and i supposed it's her 'first time'. She was like walking up and down the limited selection of food and asking, "wat's this?" *point point*, "wat's tat?" *point point*. When she was paying up for her meal she was saying, "this is so exciting!". I was thinking to myself back then, "ok...do you hav to b sooooo EXCITED?". Like seriously? It's not like she is eating some exotic bug or something for her meal. Before she was served, she asked the 'chef' (my concept is tat anyone who cooks is a chef) wat kind of broth is she using and the china 'chef' jus replied her, "broth? no no!!". I looked at the ang mo and forced a smile at her and she was like, "hmm, ok... *force smile*". She turned back at me and asked the same qn and i told her it's probably made of pig bones and she was like in a slight shock. Mayb i forgot to tell her tat the soup is made of pig bones boiled in clear water. Wrong interpretation huh? LOL.

Things tat i had achieved today despite by forever b-z schedule(not in order):
-Wasted 3k+ gold on mousehunt
-Slept in the train to and back from work
-Ate 4 meals for today
-Jog around my neighbourhood for 30 mins and 10 secs
-Watched a documentary on National Geographic Wild Channel named "Sex, Drug and -plants" (no birds involved though, only the bees for pollination)
-Watched Toy Story 1 during work
-Refilled 2 x 15 gallons of water for the SGF ppl
-Paste all my receipts (for now) for my taxi claim
-Knocked down a pot of pitcher plant
-Gotten involved with a Yong Tau Foo drama
-Lastly, being late for work, yet again...

yapjx nstd! *pukez* haha

The 'Perfect' IT support

Ended my work later than usual tonite but i guess it's ok since i arrived late this afternoon. And the reason for being late is becos of tat damn bus which arrived late and the bus stop was overflowing with students from the neighbourhood school near my house. Jus when i had planned to reach my workplace early so tat i could take some more pictures...

No doubt the event is pretty interesting but some of the users are getting alittle overboard. In wat way you may ask? I hav jus 'upgraded' to a jack-of-all-trade from my little 'Engineer' title. I was called becos they found a laptop lying on a chair. Apparently the laptop belongs to a staff there and they didn't even to find out who tat belongs to (Engineer to Lost-and-found officer, DIGI-VOLVE!). Later in the nite, i was summoned to assist switch the TV to 'PC' mode since the previous staff whom i hav taught did not pass down the msg and that was the 3rd time i hav to teach them(Engineer to Human size TV Remote control, DIGI-VOLVE!). Lastly, jus before i can leave Suntec, i was asked to assist in some TV setting up thingy. They asked me to connect a laptop to a 32" Sony Bravia jus b'cos some BIG FRY is going to arrive (i guess this is call 'putting up a show'?). Thing was tat they didn't even hav the VGA cable tat will be needed and they were expecting me to hav it, wat am i suppose to be? Doraemon? So, Engineer to Suntec setup crew-cum-Doraemon, DIGI-VOLVE!!! Thus i ended my work 1/2hr later than usual.

I guess soon enough the users will b crazy enough to do things like: "My light bulb burst! I shd call the IT support!", "My washing machine broke down! Wat's the IT Support's number?!", "My baby needs to b breast-feed! LET'S CALL THE IT SUPPORT!!!!!!!". And i had seriously encountered users requesting things tat are out of my jobscope before so i wouldn't b surprise if they really do the things i had mentioned jus now. They don't understand wat we do so they expects us to know everything cos, we are the "IT ppl".

After that i went back with Chee Ping and he told me tat he saw the BIG FRY's car as well as his escorts'. There was a limegreen bengs-ter looking car tat left him puzzled as the BIG FRY is a 'big fry' as the name suggests. i told him tat he needed the 黑白两道's protection; the mafias will handle the mafias whereas the angry mobster will b handled by the polices. lol.

Before i end tis entry, i hav to comment tat alot of things we do are jus for show, no substance but all illusion. People donno the 'truth' cos they are blinded by all the 'visual effects' tat were put up to fool them. That is how shallow ppl can be to only allow themselves to see all the 'beautiful' things. *puuui!*

The hard decision...

I hav officially submitted my resignation letter today. Well, i guess those of u who r smart enough would hav already guessed that tis is my 'little dirty secret'.

Frankly speaking, i never thought that my resignation would b tis hard even though i hav already thought about it for 2 weeks. The worry i had 2 years back pretty much came true. I still remember considering between being a Desktop Support Engineer or a Paramedic together with Janice. She ended up as a paramedic (fulfilling her childhood dream) and i had gotten into wat i am working as today. I told her that i am afraid that i got too complacent with my job now and wouldn't wan to leave and she told me tat tis is not impossible. Now look wat happens? I'm leaving and i'm feeling guity and upset for doing so.

It didn't take very long for Chia Han to text me regarding my resignation after i hav sent out the letter to my agent-in-charge as well as my manager and himself. He was apologising for tis afternoon as he tot tat he was too harsh in words when he called me to ask where was i. I told him tat it was not the case and i didn't take it to heart as it was my fault to report to the workplace late (supposed to report at 2 but i had lunch till 3). I know that i'm 'd s o' (the asshole) who will at times giv him attitute problem but i jus can't help it and i wondered y. Probably he is too soft on us and i seriously think tat he needs to b more stern on everyone since work is work. Moreover, he is our teamlead so he shd show some leadership and 'power' to 'control' his subordinates.

Of cos i felt happy that there are actually people who wanted me to stay but my happiness didn't last long before the huge wave of guiltiness flooded over me. I didn't know y he wanted to apologise when it was not his fault at all. It jus made me feel terrible and i'm hoping i've not made any wrong decision to change job. I can only say i hav always draw an invisible line between myself and my superiors, even in army, tat's y i can't b very close to them...

I had already done wat was so-call irreversible and let's jus countdown and see wat happens next. Going to draw circles with my head facing down starting from today onwards... OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

The busy weekend (3-in-1 Supermix)

Sat:
I only had like 5 hours of sleep before i was awaken by that annoying but useful alarm of mine. It was a cooling morning and my bed suddenly turned into a seductress that i can't bear to leave. Today is the day that the new batch of docents have their training in the zoo (last week was at Bird Park).

After prepping, i left my house at 8.20 (suppose to meet jimmy at 8.20 though but he was late anyways so i ended up being 'early', somehow). Both of us were like zombies by the time we meet up and had a cab to the zoo.

Shirley was there to greet us when we arrived at the zoo with her homemade marble muffins as well as some pastry by the name of 'Red Velvet'. They are both delicious and i joking asked if i could sell my cookies at her shop (since she is intending to open up her own business).

Jokingly said to jimmy that i was disappointed that there are no young blood in this yrs batch and i think Leong kar overhead that and i was given a disgusted look (he try to make it subtle but i can still feel it). I guess he doesn't really know me tat much yet, or he is always the serious type of guy since he is an officer in military camp or he couldn't take my joke? That makes me feel like a total himbo when i'm around him everytime (i remember asking him when is he getting married again, as i was quoting from the Heidi Klum's marriage example but got the fact wrong cos Heidi Klum renew her marriage certificate every year not getting married with her husband every year).

Didn't know that that day was a whole-day event but i still manage to stay till the evening to support James, the forsaken chairman. The EX-docent committees were running their own show until James 'overthrow' them. Now that they are back with a vengence and they hav decided to let James run the whole training programme for the new batch of docents. They are jus a fugly bunch of ppl. Puuui! At least James is experience enough to handle this kind of situation. 2 Thumbs up for him!

Sun:
The usual morning routine where i drove my parents to the market to get some groceries. And as usual the market's carpark was super duper packed so after getting a few items, we headed to the NTUC supermarket at marsiling mrt station.

Shortly after that we got back home and take our time to get ready for Christy's wedding banquet.

That was the 2nd wedding i have attended this year and both weddings involved people whom i know. Yet again, my grandma was asking when i'm getting married again. Somehow i felt like a piece of product that had been left on the shelf where all of my fellow 'near-expiry' goods are. Like c'mom, i'm still young ok? i'm not tat desperate to get myself tied down yet since i still hav so much more to do, to enjoy in my life.

The solemnization was an interesting one as the groom was saying so much 'i do' that the solemnizer needs to stop him before he can continue to read his 'script'. Well, at least i can see that the groom puts in effort to get married with Christy, not like my bro Kah Lun (sorry to say this but it's the truth), haha.

Mon:
I woke up with a my head spinning due to the ever-always lack of sleep. The wedding banquet ended late due to the bad habit of Chinese Singaporeans who would arrive late during wedding dinners since they thought that others would not b puncture as well. F-U ppl! Not forgetting the little hiccup tat we had when we were waiting for our car.

Went to work as usual but with quite a few tibits to share with my other colleagues, since they might not hav this chance next time, haha. Currently only Chee Ping and Karen know about my little secret and they are kind enough to keep it hush-hush for me. It won't b anymore in another month's time so my dear readers please don't pester me to tell u wat is it. >:)

I had to go over to Suntec for the Garden Fest and THEY HAD FINALLY DECIDED TO SWITCH ON THE AIR-CON!!! However turning on the air-con makes the place even dustier and the hall now is like a cold desert with constant sandstorm. Before that i had a cab drama again where that ERP system on the cab was faulty and the cab driver was frustrated with it. He had asked me to pay the correct amount but i told him that i can only pay the amount on the receipt as it will b used for claiming. He doesn't seem very happy but i couldn't do much either, sorry and too bad about it.

As usual, there were a few hijacks here and there and i managed to solve a tricky issue using 1/2 of my effort and the other by the team lead's. Jun Xian was there to stay till the end until i leave which i can say is very commendable. Initially i still tot that we could leave earlier like 5.45pm but some stupid things happened which i seriously don't understand wat my team lead is thinking sometimes. Hopefully i won't encounter the same thing next time.

Finally ending my million words essay and i hope that this is not too much too absorb. I need to hav less drama in my life. I think i'm seriously starting to sound like b-min alr, omg!

An interesting outing on the 8 July 2010

Our makan outing that some of us had planned for had finally came to an end at 9pm. Initially, it was supposed to be jus a 3-man dinner at Ajisan but after much discussion we had turned it into a 9-man (technically speaking it is pretty much like 4 men, 3 boys, 1 woman and a girl) upsized fun-filled dinner over at Cafe Cartel. Well, at least i think for Ricky that is.

I hav got to say, after being pang seh-ed for so many times, this is the 1st outing this year that i had went out to with so many people. And also, not forgetting that this is the 1st official after office hour gathering for me so it is a good experience. I am so thankful that i hav good colleagues around me in the office despite that many pile of shits that are coming in alost everyday. Day passes by faster everyday with them i guess.

Back to the story at Cafe Cartel, there was this waitress that caught Ricky's eye when she walked pass him jus now and of cos, being such a wonderful colleague (referring to myself), i've decided to do sometime good for him. So i told that waitress that "Today is my friend's b'day and he was wondering if you can take a picture with him, but of cos if u r uncomfortable it's ok." She was kind enough not to reject my request and arranged to complete tat 'task' after when i giv her the cue.

So dinner went on pretty much normally except that my panic attack strikes and i turned red (as my colleagues had mentioned), other than that i felt almost drunk where i had the filling of puking out my 'ribs' (the pork ribs tat i had eaten) when the anxiety was attacking my stomach. Perhaps i need to improve in this field though since i can't really get the shyness away when i'm talking to girls. Come to think of it, when i joined docent a yr back, my group consisted of all girls other than myself. I couldn't talk to anyone since i hav got tis shyness thing in me, so ya, u can imagine rite? haha. I forgot to mention that the girl actually looks like Jamie from ARC (Adventure Ropes Course from Poly), the sad thing was that even after so much effort, Funito decided to 'eat the young grass' by 'standing' inbetween Ricky and Cartel mei, I had seriously tried my best Ricky!

After the dinner and before we leave that place, we had a mini photo session but the photos turned out quite bad. f2.8 + iso800 is good for capturing things in low light but not group pic nor anything tat moves. The DOF was jus too obvious tat it's irritating my eyes; people who where too front/back got blurred out. Saded.

Then we took some photos with Xiao Terence and Karen was commenting that it's almost like Terence is going for some overseas studies and it is really weird. Well, wat she said quite make sense but Terence is kinda of leaving us again since his training starts after 12 when his block leave ends. Probably in SISPEC i guess ba? All the best for his upcoming units. Oh, and he mentioned that the bathroom in Tekong are equipped with doors nowadays so there won't b butt fashion show anymore. Perhaps tis is to prevent any 'accidental intrusion' of the so-call 'shit hole' if there is any soap that drops out of nowhere ba. I shall spare u the details and u r most welcome to let ur imagination run wild.

Lastly, FRIDAY IS HERE!!! Going to the zoo on Sat and Wedding dinner on Sun. My life is jus so damn packed, gosh! How am i suppose to find time to sleep?! zzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Happy 76th B'day to Grandma!

We had jus celebrated grandma's 76th b'day. The place we had went to was so ulu place beside my grandma's former house. It jus brings back the memories for me since i had spent over a decade over tat area.

I will be having more good food for the entire week: a gathering for my colleague tml at cafe cartel as well as my cousin's wedding banquet this coming sunday. CAN U SMELL HOW THE FATS ARE FRYING?!

Jus to side track alittle. Recently my mom had termed all the guys tat are going out with my sis "bees". I prefer to call them flies instead cos i see my sis as a rafflesia since she always attract weird ppl. This calls for Lady Gaga's "Bad romance". Ra-ra-ra-ma-ma, ga-ga,oo-la-la!

Oh, lastly, grandma was trying to rush me to get married again. I guess i will jus rely on my sis on this until i can find a brunette wife any time soon, haha

The nite tat left me 1/2 deaf

Lately i hav developed highly sensitive ears tat somehow became a bane to me. I shall elaborate on that at the later part.

Firstly, special thx to Joseph and Edgar for coming out tonite for the meetup even though everyone else pang seh-ed. We had dinner at Carl's Jr and movie at Marina Square where we watched "Knight and Day". The movie was pretty good in the sense tat they didn't emphasize to much on the romance but rather on the comedy and action part.

The part tat left me with a very deep impression (*spoiler ahead!!! Skip tis paragraph if u hav not and are intending to watch tis show) was where June (Cameron Diaz) was captured and was 'drugged' in Spain and after tat Roy (Tom Cruise) came in to rescue tat distressed damsel. June then asked Roy tat how come he seems unhappy to see her and Roy did that slow-mo thingy to kiss her was jus too epic. Not forgetting the conversation and the kiss on the plane too!

After the movie we had an hr of walk/talk/chill somewhere over at the esplanade. We were actually attracted by the live band over there tat's y we were till 9.30pm. After which we had a stroll over to Clark Quay where Joseph had his chance to check on the score for tonite's soccer match: Argentina vs Germany. Which apparently the team Joseph had high hopes for had lost. Oh well, better luck in 4 years time. It's not like i watch soccer though but it's jus EVERYWHERE!!! Basically 90% of the ppl around me are now obsessed with this world cup thingy. Be it for hobby or betting, it is still not my cup of tea, too bad.

Joseph was there updating me about camp stuff from his memories until the day he ORD-ed from tat place. Guess those days were long gone for me and i find it pretty hard to keep up alr. Getting old already i guess, or i've already let go of that place long ago?

So the nite ended and we went back home at bout 10+ where i took the transfer-train from Clark Quay to Douby Ghout for the red-line train. The journey back was jus hellish for me. There was tis Indian family where they jus let their toddler girl scream and scream and scream without even trying to pacify her. I was there suffering throughout the entire journey till Sembawang where they finally alighted there. That little girl was like some freaking screaming energizer bunny, i wondered where her energy came from...Before that i can see that the entire cabin of ppl were annoyed by her screams and i swear tat high pitch screaming can do some serious damages to glasswares, human ears and not forgetting the brain (jus in case u were wondering, the train's windows are made of some other material so it won't shatter into gazillion pieces and passengers get to keep their lives by not getting sucked out from the train due to the air pressure if happen so there were no windows in the train). Can u imagine everyone else's brain turned into some gooey stuff and flow out from their ears?! Tat's the kind of serious damage i'm talking about!

I was so annoyed that i hav decided to download one of the app for my htc phone to test out how much decibels of noise (some serious shit noise) that little girl can produce. The reading was 87.9db at peak which i think was seriously not accurate at all. With tat kind of screeching, i suppose it had already reached 100 over decibels which again i wondered y her parents can actually "ta-han" her. If i were her parent, i would tie her up and stuff a cloth into her mouth (jus like how those kidnappers in shows always do to their victims).

Now, i've left with 1/2 of the original sensitivity for my ears, i shall retire to my bed and enjoy the company of my 2 pillows and blanket where they will jus listen to my breathing sound. Nothing more, nothing less. Sleep "tied" everyone!

Revamped on 3/7/10

Decided to change my blog template for the better of all mankind. My eyes almost went blind after reading the words on black background. Hopefully i can get more readers to take a look at my blog, nah, i'm kidding.

Today is the day where they implement the new bus system where they charge by distance-based fare. Up till now i still cannot understand how they r trying 'cheat' our money though. I guess the saying "if you can't fool them, then confuse them" works very well for them tis time.

Today is also the day where i'm suppose to go out for my ECP outing with 6 of my campmates. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, it had been changed to some other indoor programme instead. And even more unfortunately, 2 of the ppl whom had original "Confirmed" their status on going had pang seh-ed, the other 2 didn't reply and the last 2 were kind enough to go for a movie at nite instead. Tat is really very kinda of them though. Weird thing is that i didn't even few pissed. Guess tat i am very much prepared for this kinda of things since 'n' yrs ago. Mayb i am someone who is those person whom friends does not think very highly of ba? Probably i shd go and reflect on myself again soon.

Wonder if the late nite movie trip will materialized or b cancelled pre-maturely yet again sia, -_-"

My First Time...

Today is the day i lost my 1st time to my team leader at work. He had took away the first time that i hav never expect to lose to anyone (or rather expect to lose to other guys whom i shd know better); he had made me ride on his bike...

Truely, tis morning's experience was really one-of-a-kind, so much so i've decided to giv a 6-page entry about it on my blog, lol.

I was told to go to the convention center this morning for a site survey and i basically did nothing other than playing fb on my hp. My mean of transport was supposedly taking a cab there with my team lead but he suddenly suggested that we shd go there by his bike since it's faster by tat way and he politely asked if i'm ok, i mean why not? Jus tat probably my mom would nag at me if she was there during tat time, haha. Oh, not to mention, he said tat he would drive slowly, which i tot that it's more like drive dangerously (more details coming up).

Of cos, i was more entertained than scared during tat time. The few things tat bothered me the journey there was tat 2 guys riding a bike is like having gay sex (i know it sounded crude but it's true), driving 70km/h in a car and on a bike is a total different experience (which i understand y so many bikers died on the road) and lastly i hav had no where to grab on (i swear if i haven't been training up lately, i would hav hugged his waist so as to preserve my dear life). The funny thing was tat i was grabbing his bike boot when leaving the carpark which i hav sense tat it's pretty much a 'wrong' place to grab on so i hav to grab on to the 'side' of the bike. The 2 sides of the bike are not really grips so i felt like the entire journey was a test of strength, cos if i don't grab properly, i will b sliding forward towards my team lead (i will leave the imagining part to u guys and spare all other details).

So after everything was done over at suntec, we rushed back to our usual lunch spot to extinguish our hunger. Jus when we reach the carpark beside the canteen, the rain clouds decided to jus let go of its 'pee'. Good thing was we made it to the canteen with minimum 'damage', bad thing, no umbrella. Even if we hav umbrella we will still get wet no matter wat. The only dry spots u can find on us is probably our hair and underwear (which i don't think u would wanna see though unless u r GSK).

We waited till 2+pm when 2/7 of my colleagues managed to 'kobe' some umbrellas from the nearby office and we started walking back. Due to our previous bad experience, i hav decided to take desperate measures to ensure that my shoes and socks stay dry (or at least 90% dry). *Memories from yesterday flashes thru my brain: the mini amazon river rushes down one of the slope tat i need to take before reaching the canteen flooded my entire footwear. Reached the canteen with 80% wet clothings and feeling cold* So we walked back, bare-footed, jeans rolled up to knee-length looking totally fashionable & glamourous, enjoying the free 'foot reflexology' and the cool streaming rainwater as they run thru our feet.

By the way, the whole office was left more or less vacant after we return by from lunch as they were having some event over at fort canning (hopefully not bbq though or they will hav rainwater marinated every-other-things-that-they-had-prepared and chicken wings). Even though there were not much ppl around, the work still seems to b endless for me. Guess more shits are coming up soon. sianz 2/2.

Met up with Josh after work to pass him back his gf's laptop tat was fixed and he gav me a box of mini eclair-lookalike-thingy BUT MY SIS FINISHED THEM!!! T_T i shall retrieve them back from her stomach when she is sleep. 1st i will need to cut it open and dig thru her stomach of garden salad...

Before i wind this up, i had read quite a few entries of my past posts and they are really entertaining. Time really flies and *poof* i'm alr 24. Hopefully jus like the other post tat i hav blogged since 'n' years ago, by the time when i am 50, i would already hav earn lots of money and had married an ang moh wife, wahahahahaha, i jus sound so himbotic, diaoz

Special post for SISTa

After being inspired by my so-call drama-mama sis, i am now craving for some love. HOWEVER, I AM NOT DESPERATE!

DECLARATION: My apologies to my sis for the potential usage of wrong terms in the next few sentences.

My 'bewitching' sista has once again managed to 'capture' the hearts of several testosterone raging young boys (young boys in my context) and they are vying so hard for her love that they started fighting violently with each other (kidding). Well, her unsuccessful first love had ended pretty much prematurely and apparently the aftermath of the drama is more colourful when she and her 'THE-EX' were tgt, how irony...

She had enlighten me about things i had always tried to decline; BGR. I guess this kinda thing is like a "you-can-run-but-you-can't-hide" issue where sooner or later parents/uncle/aunties/grandparents/friends will b there to pester u to know when u will b getting hitched. As the proverb in chinese goes; "the eunuch is more anxious than the emperor", how well said can tat b?

So after her enlightenment, i guess i won't rule out the possibility of getting married (OF COS NOT AND NEVER WILL B DUE TO ANY 'ACCIDENTS' COS I HATE KIDS!) BUT, not to a Singaporean. I hav seen enough FUGLY Singaporean acts (girls are more pissy) and those are nuff to make myself go blind. Besides, according to world statistics, there are more women than men (approx 60% to 40%), so in the nutshell, GUYS SHD B THE ONE WHO HAV THE RIGHTS TO CHOOSE OK?! MAN RULZ GIRLS BOOZ! <- Too much man ego -_-"

Oh, talking bout world cup, wat's so nice bout it? LOL jus being random here. By the way, 25mins ago was 1st of July. 3 impt events happened during tat day: SAF day (well, WAS impt to me like 2 yrs back?), Gahmen (Mr Brown style) gav us $200 for our GST rebate (which will b returned to them somehow soon) and lastly the replenishment for starhub's redemption vouchers. Speaking of which, i am truely amazed by how efficient Singaporeans can b when it comes to freebies. The staff from Starhub told me the dining vouchers tat i wanted to redeem was fully taken with 10mins after they top-up those damn vouchers. So there goes my Crystal Jade vouchers for the 2nd time. She even told me tat i shd redeem it within 5mins after they top-up the vouchers, which is like 5.05pm, GOSH!

I better get some resting before my sick body gets any worst. Oh, i don't even get to rest on my sick day, i guess shall look into how to blow up my phone soon or else i will b bombarded by those damn calls again even after work. ARGH!

Personal interpretation for the Game of Life

First of all, i have to stress that even though this entry MAY (i emphasize on the 'may' again) seem like an emo blog, it's not, below are jus personal tots tat are generalized to 'shoot' certain ppl.

To play the game of life, we must balance the amount of 'givs' and 'takes' tat we can receive from others or issue back. With the society we are in now, most of the ppl around are the 'takers' and the 'givers' that are pretty much 'near-to-extinction'. One's popularity is not based simply on the number of "Friends" u hav on facebook/friendster, it's more like how many of those "Friends" you hav are willing to help u in times of need.

I hav recently received a call from a ex-cca mate whom i had proudly say to hav lost contact with (or rather not feeling to contact with b'cos of his attitute) as he had needed help with his work. He may think tat it was jus a simple survey/favour from a 'friend' (if he still consider me as one or vice versa tat is) but he didn't realise tat i felt more like i'm being used. People usually don't notice when they are the 'receiving' party becos they don't lose anything (or than the times where they receive nothing good but shit tat is). I guess tat's e problem with Singaporean and even though i'm one, i feel ashame of being one tat is born here sometimes. Nuff said and whined before i get arrested for bad-mouthing my own kind.

What i think is the most frustrating part about being a 'giver' is tat even though u giv so much, u don't seem to b able to receive anything. For instance, i needed help but ppl whom i tot are friends were there to leave me alone. That was when i became self-reliant, that was when i expect others to b the same and stop relying on me and tat was when i became more and more self-centered. I am not afraid to 'share' my flaws as i wan those who r reading tis to really appreciate ur friends around you whom had given u alot (regardless of anything) and to giv them back the respect they deserve before you lose more than wat they can lose; a valuable relationship tat u cannot buy (unless ur friend(s) accept bribes tat is >:) ).
