The nite tat left me 1/2 deaf

Lately i hav developed highly sensitive ears tat somehow became a bane to me. I shall elaborate on that at the later part.

Firstly, special thx to Joseph and Edgar for coming out tonite for the meetup even though everyone else pang seh-ed. We had dinner at Carl's Jr and movie at Marina Square where we watched "Knight and Day". The movie was pretty good in the sense tat they didn't emphasize to much on the romance but rather on the comedy and action part.

The part tat left me with a very deep impression (*spoiler ahead!!! Skip tis paragraph if u hav not and are intending to watch tis show) was where June (Cameron Diaz) was captured and was 'drugged' in Spain and after tat Roy (Tom Cruise) came in to rescue tat distressed damsel. June then asked Roy tat how come he seems unhappy to see her and Roy did that slow-mo thingy to kiss her was jus too epic. Not forgetting the conversation and the kiss on the plane too!

After the movie we had an hr of walk/talk/chill somewhere over at the esplanade. We were actually attracted by the live band over there tat's y we were till 9.30pm. After which we had a stroll over to Clark Quay where Joseph had his chance to check on the score for tonite's soccer match: Argentina vs Germany. Which apparently the team Joseph had high hopes for had lost. Oh well, better luck in 4 years time. It's not like i watch soccer though but it's jus EVERYWHERE!!! Basically 90% of the ppl around me are now obsessed with this world cup thingy. Be it for hobby or betting, it is still not my cup of tea, too bad.

Joseph was there updating me about camp stuff from his memories until the day he ORD-ed from tat place. Guess those days were long gone for me and i find it pretty hard to keep up alr. Getting old already i guess, or i've already let go of that place long ago?

So the nite ended and we went back home at bout 10+ where i took the transfer-train from Clark Quay to Douby Ghout for the red-line train. The journey back was jus hellish for me. There was tis Indian family where they jus let their toddler girl scream and scream and scream without even trying to pacify her. I was there suffering throughout the entire journey till Sembawang where they finally alighted there. That little girl was like some freaking screaming energizer bunny, i wondered where her energy came from...Before that i can see that the entire cabin of ppl were annoyed by her screams and i swear tat high pitch screaming can do some serious damages to glasswares, human ears and not forgetting the brain (jus in case u were wondering, the train's windows are made of some other material so it won't shatter into gazillion pieces and passengers get to keep their lives by not getting sucked out from the train due to the air pressure if happen so there were no windows in the train). Can u imagine everyone else's brain turned into some gooey stuff and flow out from their ears?! Tat's the kind of serious damage i'm talking about!

I was so annoyed that i hav decided to download one of the app for my htc phone to test out how much decibels of noise (some serious shit noise) that little girl can produce. The reading was 87.9db at peak which i think was seriously not accurate at all. With tat kind of screeching, i suppose it had already reached 100 over decibels which again i wondered y her parents can actually "ta-han" her. If i were her parent, i would tie her up and stuff a cloth into her mouth (jus like how those kidnappers in shows always do to their victims).

Now, i've left with 1/2 of the original sensitivity for my ears, i shall retire to my bed and enjoy the company of my 2 pillows and blanket where they will jus listen to my breathing sound. Nothing more, nothing less. Sleep "tied" everyone!
