IPPT Saturday(s)

My day didn't start off well as i didn't hav a complete minimum 7hrs of sleep before having a vigorous exercise tat's coming up in the evening.

To start off, i woke up feeling disorientated and feeling tat bad thing is going to happen soon, haha. When i was having breakfast, i found a black lump about the size of a 5 cents coin stuck at the corner of a slice of bread while i'm spreading it with butter. It really turns me off and i almost didn't hav breakfast b'cos of it. Then i took photos of it and cut it out leaving it in a plastic bag and freeze it (tis is wat they meant by retaining the evident) so i can 'feedback' to the bread company.

Had honeystars with milk in the noon to prep myself for the upcoming IPPT, tis is to make sure i hav enough energy to burn :).

Taking IPPT as a NSman is quite an experience. Everything is so high tech tat makes me feel so awed, everything is OTOT where u don't hav to worry bout cheating or unfairness. For instance, shuttle-run station will start the timer once u pass thru their gantry (where the sensors will b at) and u hav to tap on the metal strip on the ground as if u are taking items from the end point, touch the strip at the starting point as if u r placing them down. Sit-ups and Chin-up stations are equipped with digital voice announcer to tell u how many u hav done for tat station. SBJ equipped with sensors also but they only allow 2 tries. Lastly the interesting part about 2.4km is tat they had adopted the ERP gantry idea, so everytime u run pass the gantry, ur completed lap will b recorded down, it's also recorded individually for the fairness of everyone.

The moment to unveil my result... I failed... T_T. It's really quite disappointing though when i thought the trainings i did is enough, seems like it's not. I didn't hav the correct technic for shuttle-run, my fat tummy makes my sit-up feels as though i'm giving birth, i can only get 212cm for my SBJ which sadly means i need extra training for tat (technic again in tis case i supposed), chin-up wasn't a problem so fret not and lastly 2.4km which i choose to giv up with Ming Hui as it was raining the whole evening (cat 1 till 1800 when we had completed the 4 static stations by 4+pm). I supposed running isn't a problem for me also but since it kept on raining and we had both failed SBJ, we decided to come again next time. Hopefully we can pass by then. Haiz...

Soon Saturdays will b my IPPT day...till the day i pass tat is...
